On behalf of the FDYFL committee we would like to thank our existing member clubs for their continued support to the League and also extend a warm welcome to new member clubs in this year’s competition. We are a Chartered Standard League aiming to provide a structured mini soccer league for young people to play based on the element of friendly activity where winning is enjoyable, playing is of more importance but the enjoyment of the game is paramount.
FA rulings for the season 2019/2020 mean that no results are recorded in matches for age groups U11 and below. Similar to last season, the League will be holding round robin festivals during the season. The league will play 9 a-side soccer at U11 and 12 and we are also delighted that we will also play under 13’s football this season with teams playing a mixture of 9 or 11 a side football.
We are delighted that this season we have a record number of clubs and teams entering the completion and we are pleased to report that the introduction of player registration’s using the Whole Game System has been successful.
The current season League Handbook and Contact Details can be found under the documents tab. We would politely request that should clubs have a question that they refer to the handbook in the first instance before contacting a member of the committee. Additional match sheets and the League’s privacy notice can also be found under the documents tab of this website.
We hope you have an enjoyable season playing in our League.
